Many people want to try Linux, but main problem in this not only linux itself.
Problem that there is different software. If you are MS Office user it maybe problem to you to work with your documents in Linux. Check what is it OpenOffice (default office suit in linux) and how it open your documents, you can with my OpenOffice portable build for Windows.
Also If you have not plans to move to linux, portable OpenOffice can allow you to open documents on a Windows PC without installation of office suites – just run it from USB.
For, example if you come to make presentation, but didn’t know is there Office pack. You can make presentation in Impress (OpenOffice program like MS Office PowerPoint) and run it from USB using my portable OpenOffice build.
